Gary is a highly motivated, self-directed kid who would have done well anywhere. But Westminster afforded him opportunities and ways to grow that he would not have had elsewhere — from swimming to theater. A main realization during his time here was how much the school was giving him and how much he wanted to give back. He was always sensitive to those who may be marginalized. At Westminster he found his voice and his ability to lead. He plans to use those tools to continue to help others.
